Smile Education is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in Redditch to recruit a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to start as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with behavioural needs, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential in a structured and positive environment.

The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students who require behavioural or pastoral guidance
Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
Help students develop positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement with learning
Work closely with the pastoral and safeguarding teams
Support teachers in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive classroom environment
Act as a positive role model and mentor for students

The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with young people or students with behavioural needs
Has strong communication and behaviour management skills
Is patient, resilient, and supportive
Can build positive relationships with students and staff
Has experience in schools, youth work, mentoring, coaching, or support roles (desirable but not essential)
This role would suit candidates with backgrounds in education, youth work, sports coaching, pastoral support, or behaviour support.
