Smile education are recruiting for an experienced primary school teacher for PPA cover across a 2 form entry school in the Redditch.

The Role
They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across the primary age range, providing PPA cover while maintaining consistency, creativity, and high standards of learning.

Key Responsibilities of this PPA teacher:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required
Ensure continuity of learning during PPA cover
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing
Assess pupils’ progress and provide feedback in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with class teachers and support staff
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The expectations of the PPA teacher

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching across the primary age range
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Be adaptable, organised, and confident teaching different year groups
Share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Be a positive team player with excellent communication skills
