Are you passionate about STEM and love working with children? Join Young Engineers this Easter and Summer and be part of something awesome!
We’re looking for energetic, creative, and reliable Lead Educators and Assistant Educators to help run our hands‑on engineering holiday camps for children aged 6–12. Using LEGO®-based models, you’ll help young minds explore science, technology, engineering, and maths in a fun, exciting way during their school break.

Easter Holidays – full‑time during camp weeks
Summer Holidays – full‑time during camp weeks
Typical camp days: approx. 8:30/9:00 AM – 3:30/4:00 PM (times may vary slightly by venue)
Perfect for university students, trainee/part‑time teachers, teaching assistants, or anyone who loves working with kids and is available full‑time in the school holidays.
What You’ll Do – Lead Educator- Lead fun, structured Young Engineers holiday camp sessions using our lesson plans and kits
- Deliver clear instructions and keep sessions safe, engaging, and inclusive
- Give daily introductions and safety briefings
- Oversee the group, manage behaviour positively, and ensure all children are involved
- Communicate confidently with parents/carers at drop‑off and pick‑up
- Coordinate with venues and our internal team
- Support and guide Assistant Educators
- Ensure equipment and classrooms are set up, tidy, and safe each day
- Uphold our standards for child safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality
- Support the Lead Educator in running activities and helping children with their models
- Encourage and engage children throughout the day
- Help with setting up and packing away equipment and classrooms
- Assist with registers, headcounts, and general admin
- Supervise break and lunch times in a safe, positive way
- Be a friendly, enthusiastic role model for our young learners
- Uphold our standards for child safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality
- A passion for STEM and working with children
- Great communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
- Organised, punctual, and reliable
- Experience working with children (schools, clubs, tutoring, camps etc.) is a bonus, essential for Lead roles and desirable for Assistant roles
- DBS checked (or willing to undergo one)
- Access to transport preferred (multiple venues across Solihull & Warwickshire)
- Full training and all materials provided
