Woodloes Primary School, a multi‑academy trust, is seeking two dedicated individuals to join our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) team. The successful candidate will be an active and effective member of the SRP, supporting the learning of pupils placed within the provision under the direction of a specialist teacher, SENCO, or class/subject teacher.
Responsibilities- Support pupils in the SRP and mainstream classrooms, facilitating improvements in independence, progress, and attainment.
- Help pupils develop their personal, emotional, and social skills, whilst implementing behaviour support plans and providing pastoral care as agreed with the SRP team.
- Assist in the production and organisation of resources that foster quality and independent learning.
- Provide constructive feedback under the guidance of the SRP teacher and/or SENCO, and assist with personal care when required.
- Passionate about supporting children with additional needs and committed to promoting an inclusive educational experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong commitment to raising standards of attainment and up‑to‑date knowledge of effective teaching and learning practices, behaviour management strategies and SEND support.
- A warm and inclusive learning environment with high aspirations for both pupils and staff.
