Annual salary: £25,646.40 pro rata, dependent on experience.

Working hours:

8 hours per week, shifts 09:00‑13:00.

We are looking for a Creche Assistant who will create a safe, secure and stimulating creche environment where children can explore their potential. You’ll consider their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education, always keeping up with the latest changes in childcare legislation.

We will provide opportunities to train in new techniques and approaches.

• Take reasonable care of yourself and others while complying with Health and Safety policy at all times.
• Create a safe, clean, tidy, secure and stimulating Crèche environment – one where children can fully explore their potential.
• Consider children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social and psychological development through play and education.
• Provide equipment for play and education.
• Ensure Crèche is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
• Liaise with parents and carers regularly in an informative and appropriate manner.

• Proven experience in a creche environment.
• Qualified to NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC (or equivalent).
• Ideally EYPS and Paediatric First Aid qualifications.
• Availability to work shifts between 09:00‑13:00.
