FinancePosition Overview
Procurement Business Partner – responsible for supporting the council in achieving best value, providing savings and innovation, ensuring compliance. You will work alongside the Procurement Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities- Support the purchase of items ranging from stationery to larger projects such as country parks and housing developments.
- Assist in implementing larger projects and support the council’s Climate Change agenda of becoming a net zero Council by 2025 and net zero contract services by 2030.
- Contribute to the procurement function’s four key areas: making savings for the council, supporting local economies, supporting procurement leadership, and promoting modernisation of procurement practices.
- Educated to A-levels or higher and working towards CIP level 4 (or equivalent) or have 3 years’ experience in procurement.
- Experience influencing people and leading projects.
- Ability to manage competitive tendering processes using an e‑tendering system.

The role is career graded, full time, and predominantly from home. Hybrid and office working is available. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the office or sites within Warwick District as needed; travel costs will be met.
TeamThe Procurement team sits within the Procurement function and is currently made up of 2 people.
