Strategic Procurement Specialist

Location:

Warwick (2 days in office, 3 days from home)
Contract Duration: 12 months initially

Rate: £350-£450 Per Day Umbrella

What You'll Do:

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will be at the heart of our procurement operations, driving strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and sustainability. Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our sustainability goals.
analysing market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
Engaging with suppliers to negotiate contracts that support our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

We seek an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in strategic procurement and supplier sourcing/management.
Cost value engineering experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
A passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to a greener future.
