Hospice Marketing & Business Development Liaison

We are hiring a Marketing and Business Development Liaison to join our team with Athena Hospice of Rhode Island!

Salaried position with an incentive program. Weekly pay! This is an on-the-road position covering the entire state of Rhode Island.

In this position, you establish and grow referral relationships with physicians, referral sources, the community, and other providers in the market.

• Experience in sales and marketing preferred.

• Experience in healthcare (hospice, long-term care, acute care, etc.) required.

• Act as a liaison between the referral accounts/the community and the agency to identify and develop new potential referral sources.

• Develop and maintain a monthly and daily marketing plan based on needs.

• Maximizes census through effective marketing, sales calls, and public relations in accordance with the Home Health and Hospice goals.

• Effectively develop and implement monthly marketing plans that are organized and strategic through geographic planning, completion of daily marketing/admission action plans, targeting account assignments, adherence to account assignments, sales call frequency, strategy for account development, and vertical account development.

• Manage marketing/sales budgets.

• Track and evaluate referrals.

• Responsible to ensure external sales calls effectively.

• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective families and applicants.
