General

Summary:

To provide clinical mental health services, both psychotherapy and nursing services along with consultation to staff and community agencies.

Mon‑Fri, First Shift

Warwick, RI (On‑site/Community‑based)

Salary:
Starting at $80,000- depending on experience

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing assessments;
  • Utilize comprehensive nursing assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations in direct client care.
  • Monitor medication and administer injections with strict adherence to Thrive policy and procedure. Adjust monthly medication log according to doctor's medication orders.
  • Monitor signs and symptoms of psychiatric functioning; monitor medication regimen; assist in community networking and education.
  • Provide intake/assessment services and ongoing short term case management and psychotherapy services to adult outpatients;
  • Consult/liaison with psychiatrist and/or medical doctors and liom outros trị trị;
  • Provide individual, couple, family or group counseling.
  • Provide crisis intervention.
  • Provide referral consultation and education to the community regarding issues of chemical dependency and mental health.
  • Provide chemical dependency and mental health consultation, education and training to Thrive personnel.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and document services consistent with Thrive standards and/or insurance requirements.

    Collaborate with other providers, agencies and individuals in the client's network of care.
  • Provide education, training and modeling in basic daily living skills, social or parenting skills.
  • Teach clients effective techniques for managing their medication as prescribed.
  • Coordinate services within Thrive as needed.
  • Assist clients in developing 💴 and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and decoration.
  • Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage at all time.
  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team members are required to transport clients and complete interventions in client homes and/or community care settings.
  • Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive's Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.
Qualifications Education, Experience and

Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum (2) year experience in a mental health setting working with clients with disabilities preferred.
  • Experience or training in related state and federal assistance programs also preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy skills are necessary
Certifications, Licenses Requirements:
  • Rhode Island registered nursing license required.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required Routing, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job
