RadiologicTechnologist Duties
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, provide instructions, assist positioning, and ensure patient comfort.
- Operate radiologic equipment, set exposure parameters, capture diagnostic images safely, and follow established radiologic requirements and regulations.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to protect patients and team members.
- Maintain radiologic equipment, perform quality assurance and calibration, and report malfunctions to Center Operations Director.
- Ensure radiology workflows are followed, all radiology reports are correctly cross‑referenced to EMR, and accurate documentation is completed.
- Coordinate with clinicians, assist in procedure setup, administer medications, and support patient flow.
- Perform Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Non‑DOT drug and alcohol testing.
- Take vital signs and conduct physical examinations, including vaccines, injections, phlebotomy, PFTs, audiogram testing, and respirator fit testing.
- Perform rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, mono, glucose, etc.).
- Assist providers during examination and treatment, and perform routine medical procedures as ordered by treating clinician.
- Prepare and assist clinician with procedure set‑up, injury care, and apply bandages, dressings, splints, dispense medications and DME in accordance with state regulations.
- Complete quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices, maintain supplies, clean rooms and equipment, and stock exam rooms.
- Notify supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly or if supplies are needed.
- Assist with patient flow and volume, keep patients informed of expected wait times, and perform front‑office duties such as greeting patients, obtaining authorization, checking in/out, communicating wait times, answering multi‑line telephone system, and distributing employer results/paperwork as needed.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and safety rules, attend center staff meetings or huddles, and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly appearance throughout the facility.
- Complete any applicable training, including but not limited to clinical competency training that occurs monthly.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and application of state certification.
- Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and holding an active, valid certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- At least six months of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and terminology.
- Preferred:
Experience in occupational medicine requirements, prior medical office, healthcare, and/or customer service-related experience. - Core competencies:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry into various systems/applications.

This position offers an hourly base rate ranging from $28.00 to $40.00, with a sign‑on bonus up to $2,500 and additional incentives up to $25,000 depending on role and experience.
