Customer Accounts

The Customer Accounts department processes progress payments and final accounts for the Masterton Group of Companies, assisting our customers in the smooth completion of the building process i.e. settlement of final accounts, hand over of keys and appliance installation.

This position is responsible for the efficient and timely preparation and processing of Masterton Homes, New Living Homes & New Edge Homes customers final account.

• Focusing on the Customers and providing excellent Customer Service during the settlement process
• Liaise customers, customers representatives and lending bodies both personal and telephone interaction
• Settlement of accounts and handover of the keys to customers.
• Accounts Receivable procedures including reconciling customers final accounts
• Working with customer for the settlement of the final payment on the Building Agreement

• Experience in the Construction industry - highly regarded
• Proven knowledge of account reconciliation
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
• Excellent presentation and professional attitude toward both internal and external customers
• Proven literacy and numeracy skills
• Comprehensive background in accounts receivable/billing operations
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounts receivable experience is essential
• Proven ability to work both unsupervised and as a member of a team
• Proven proficiency in the use of relevant technology i.e. switchboard systems, Microsoft packages, etc.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
