Position: Special Education Teacher [81464]

We’re partnering with a school district in Providence County, RI to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year.

This position provides the opportunity to work closely with students with significant learning and developmental needs, implementing specialized curriculum, behavior supports, and social-emotional learning strategies to help students succeed.

  • Location: In-person in Providence County, RI; no hybrid or remote opportunities available.
  • Schedule: Full-time;
    Monday
    - Friday
  • Caseload: Approximately 12 Students
  • Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet high-need student requirements
  • Collect and maintain data on student progress
  • Implement behavior interventions and social-emotional supports
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid Rhode Island Teaching Certificate in Special Education with Multilingual Learner (MLL) Endorsement required
  • Experience working with students with high academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
