Program Manager, Value Chain Excellence

Job Description Summary
The Value Chain Excellence role will support the UCC E2E Value Stream Leaders on key initiatives critical to delivering on each Platforms' short and long-term strategic vision to achieve targeted COGS and GP%. He/She will be responsible for identifying ways to more effectively and efficiently design and manufacture our product portfolio through effective leadership and collaboration across multiple functions (i.e. Plant Operations, R&D, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain).

Analyze existing processes & products, recommend improvements, and oversee implementation.

• Lead operations UCC representative on specific Platform Gross Profit Improvement projects: scheduling & facilitating internal workshops, coordinating Field visits with the commercial team, scheduling & facilitating the manufacturing, sterilization, & distribution visits & process mapping to create roadmap of savings. Continue to oversee workstream as project moves into execution phase to ensure delivery of results.
• Support the End to End Value Stream Leaders to develop the platform rolling ASR cost leadership programs with cross-site monitoring and tracking mechanisms.
• Collaborate across Operations, Marketing, and R&D to deploy the cost leadership strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing Portfolio Managers on lifecycle management; recommend strategies to improve GP through SKU optimization and ensure appropriate procedures are followed to discontinue product.

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering preferred or relevant field.
• Certification in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain or Engineering.
• Experience leading projects, kaizens, and/or blitzes.
• Experience leading complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with navigating ERP systems.
• Nice to Have:
