Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

Our Kforce client in Warwick, RI is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP across multiple construction, development, and solar projects. This hands‑on role supports invoice processing, construction draws, lien waivers, and vendor payments while working closely with Project Managers, vendors, and leadership. This position will be on-site, 5 days a week. Duties:

• The Accounts Payable Specialist will process 50‑75 invoices weekly with accurate job, cost code, and phase coding.
• Support monthly construction draws and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Obtain, track, and verify lien waivers and compliance documents.
• Reconcile vendor statements, credit cards, and AP subledger to GL.
• As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will execute weekly payments and support banking portals.
• Assist with SOP documentation and process improvements.

• 5+ years of AP experience in construction, development, or real estate preferred.
• ERP experience (Quick Books Online, Viewpoint Spectrum a plus).
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Organized, deadline‑driven, and collaborative in a fast‑paced environment.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
