Software Engineer (.NET & Business Intelligence

Software Engineer (.NET & Business Intelligence)to join our Uni Que team!

• Design and develop software systems in alignment with functional and technical requirements.
• Lead and coordinate development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Translate business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications.
• Optimize software solutions for performance
  , security
  , and quality
  .
• Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide effort and time estimates for development tasks and deliverables.
• Define and enforce software development standards and guidelines.
• Propose technical solutions addressing business needs and resolving technical challenges.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret software performance metrics
  .
• Manage configuration, version control
  , and release processes
  .
• Contribute to requirements analysis
  , testing
  , quality assurance
  , change management
  , and deployment activities
  .
• Design and execute testing procedures
  , and develop custom testing tools when needed.
• Prototype new solutions and validate innovative approaches.
• Provide second and third-level support
  , resolving complex technical issues.

• Minimum education level:
  Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level
  6) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in IT.
• Minimum 2 years of project experience in a similar role or within comparable environments.
• At least one intermediate-level certification in software development or an equivalent internationally recognized certification (subject to acceptance by the Contracting Authority).
• Proven experience in enterprise-level software design and development
  , covering the full lifecycle — from requirements analysis and architecture design to deployment and support.
• Strong proficiency in .NET framework development (minimum 3 years).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies or similar, including SQL
  , ETL
  , data modelling
  , OLAP
  , reporting
  , and data mining tools.
• Excellent knowledge of UML for system and application design.
• Skilled in designing and developing data, business logic, and UI layers of complex systems.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Solid understanding of software performance
  , security
  , and quality optimization principles.
• A fluency in the English language will be required
