Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team. Our company specializes in vehicle upfitting, manufacturing specialized vehicle conversions for government agencies, law enforcement, municipalities, and private organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a solid understanding of vehicles, and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle upfitting solutions
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product information
- Work closely with operations and installation teams to ensure accurate specifications and customer satisfaction
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through order completion
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions
- Stay informed on industry trends, vehicle platforms, and upfitting solutions
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, meetings, and customer sites as needed
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive, fleet, or commercial vehicle industries
- Knowledge of vehicles strongly preferred (chassis types, drive trains, fleet vehicles, etc.)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical vehicle modifications
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with CRM systems and basic computer applications
- Experience selling to government, law enforcement, or municipal customers
- Familiarity with vehicle upfitting, fleet services, or specialty vehicle conversions
- Understanding of compliance, safety, or industry standards related to transport vehicles
