RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Every third weekend requirement

• No on-call requirements

• 72 guaranteed hours bi-weekly

• Block scheduling available as an option

• Weekend only schedule option available

• No floating required

• Patient ratio of 1:6

• Work across 46 beds on 2 units

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Indiana RN license required

• Minimum 1 year acute care/hospital nursing experience required

• EMR system:
Cerner

• Blue scrubs required

• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)

• Provide care for adult and geriatric medical patients

• Post-surgical care for various surgical specialties

• No cardiac titrations or advanced cardiac care involved

• 13-week assignment duration

This community hospital provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the local population. The facility maintains a 46-bed medical-surgical unit spread across two floors, focusing on adult and geriatric medical care as well as post-operative care for various surgical specialties. The hospital utilizes Cerner EMR system and maintains flexible orientation scheduling to accommodate new staff members.
