We are seeking Robot Programmers/Technicians to support integration and commissioning efforts for a high-volume automotive manufacturing project in northern Indiana.
This role requires hands‑on experience with Fanuc robotics in body shop applications and special means builds. Candidates will play a critical role in programming, touch‑ups, commissioning support, and quality collaboration during pre‑commissioning and launch phases.
Required Qualifications- 2–5 years of experience in:
- Robot setup
- Troubleshooting
- Programming
- Hands‑on experience with Fanuc robotics
- Experience with Spot Tool+ and V9.40 for R30iB Plus controller preferred
- Fanuc certification‑only experience is acceptable
- Must be willing to work onsite in Warsaw, IN
- Must be open to 6‑day workweeks and 12‑hour shifts
- Develop, modify, and optimize Fanuc robot programs for body shop applications
- Perform robot teaching, touch‑ups, and recovery in production and pre‑commissioning environments
- Configure frames, tools, payloads, and TCPs
- Support special means builds and rapid program adjustments
- Support robot cell startup, offline programming, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot robot alarms, motion issues, and ladder logic
- Provide floor support during peak programming and launch phases
- Collaborate with Quality teams to resolve process issues
- Improve weld quality, part accuracy, and repeatability
- Support containment and fast‑turn engineering changes
- Coordinate with Controls teams on I/O validation and interlocks
- Follow all safety procedures in active manufacturing environments
- Comfortable in fast‑paced commissioning environments
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
