Position: Transport / Warehouse Operations
Our client is one of the leading providers of overnight delivery serving the UK / IRELAND / UK market. Their freight hubs are strategically located both in the UK and Ireland to provide express road freight next day delivery with 3 depots in England and 1 large site in Dublin, Ireland

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UK/IRISH TRANSPORT OPERATOR / WAREHOUSE OPERATOR HYBRID ROLE working within the rapidly expanding Irish Distribution company based in WARRINGTON on there PM Shift with working hours of 2pm to 11pm

Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for Day to day management of the transport desk, with responsibility of cost and return for fleet of vehicles, Load planning, processing bookings, 3rd party logistics, customer service, & general admin duties.

Role would be a mix of transport office work and Warehouse operations unloading and loading of C&D vehicles, labelling etc so an FLT License would be useful, but not essential.

Flexibility is key with Transport, Trailer or Warehouse Operations experience

Someone with a good office mentality as warehouse / FLT training will be given on the job as time goes on

The salary would be starting £24K / quarterly bonus scheme after 6 month probation period / 20 days holiday plus BH

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 2.00pm - 11.00pm hours

The successful candidate must have experience from a UK Haulage, Irish Distribution, Pallet Distribution and/or EUROPEAN Road Freight background, preferably with experience within the IRISH market place.

You must have excellent communication skills & a good level of competence in Microsoft office, word, excel & power point. The role offers an a competetive salary & opportunities for career progression within a market leading business
