If this answer is yes, click apply to take the next steps The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available with one of our key clients for a Planning and Logistics Team Leader.

This role will be to support the delivery of an efficient, customer focused supply chain operation.

You’ll play a key role in creating production schedules, improving delivery performance, managing stock, and leading a small supply chain team.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Creating and managing production plans to support on time delivery to customers.

Coordinating the procurement of raw materials and ensuring they are available for manufacturing.

Overseeing the movement of finished and raw materials across UK sites and distribution centres.

Leading and supporting the planning and warehousing teams to maintain smooth daily operations.

Monitoring inventory levels and supporting cycle counting and stock accuracy activities.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

Strong working knowledge of SAP across sales, planning and materials modules.

Good level of general education and confident using Microsoft Office applications.

Practical understanding of manufacturing processes, site operations and supplier relationships.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Experience in a planning, logistics or supply chain environment with team leading responsibilities.

It’s great if you also have the following

Experience working within a chemical manufacturing, batch processing, or regulated production environment.

Familiarity with REACH, COMAH, or similar compliance frameworks relevant to chemical operations.

Understanding of raw material supply chains, toll manufacturing, or global freight movements.
