CNC Operator Cullompton, Devon gap personnel are recruiting for a fast-growing engineering company based in Cullompton, Devon . We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator/Setter to join a busy and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with turning and/or milling experience who is looking to further develop their skills in a dynamic engineering environment.

Experience with Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (turning and milling) to produce high-quality precision components Interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances Monitor machine performance and output quality, making adjustments as required Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety requirements Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work closely with the engineering team to improve processes and productivity Adhere to company policies and maintain high standards of workmanship Skills & Experience Previous experience as a CNC Operator/Setter (turning and/or milling) Previous experience programming is beneficial

Experience with Mazatrol or Heidenhain controls Strong understanding of engineering drawings Confident using measuring equipment and working to tight tolerances Proactive problem-solving approach High attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Ability to work under minimal supervision Desirable CNC apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification

Experience with other CNC controls or machinery Hours & Pay:
Competitive hourly rate £18 – £22 DOE Monday to Friday, 0800am – 1700pm
