Machine Operative

JDR Recruitment are looking for a production operative to join our client based in Birchwood, WA3. Immediate start!

Location:

Birchwood, Warrington.

Working hours:

• 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Thursday
• 6am to 12pm / 2pm to 6pm, Friday

When our client enters their busier period and the volumes of work increases, you may be asked to work a third night shift:

• 10pm to 6am, Monday to Thursday

You must be available to work all 3 shifts

Permanent role!

As a production operative you will be working within a manufacturing environment and your duties will be as followed:

• Operating press brake machinery to produce metal products
• Quality checking finished goods against drawings with measuring tools
• Packing finished goods into boxes and prepping those boxes for dispatch
• General housekeeping and adhering to health and safety
• Working to targets

As a production operative you will have the following skills and experience:

• Start immediately and are looking for long term work
• A desire to learn, work hard and well within a team
• A willingness to learn and grow in skills (IE admin skills)
• This role would be suited to someone with press brake or machine operating experience, but training will be given to anyone who comes from a manufacturing background.
