We’re looking for a highly capable Distribution Centre Planning and Performance Manager to join our logistics leadership team — based at our new Omega Distribution Centre.
Reporting to the Depot General Manager, this senior role is critical in ensuring that planning, optimisation, and performance within the distribution centre are aligned with business objectives and delivered in a cost‑effective, timely, and efficient manner.
You’ll be responsible for shaping warehouse planning strategies, monitoring and improving KPIs, and embedding best practice to drive continuous improvement. By working collaboratively with operational teams, IT, and senior stakeholders, you’ll ensure each distribution centre remains scalable, efficient, and future‑ready as the business continues to grow.

Responsibilities- Warehouse Planning - Implement warehouse strategies, optimising space, inventory flow, and workforce planning to meet business needs and peak demands.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis - Define and track KPIs, analyse operational data, and provide reports with recommendations to improve service, cost, and efficiency.
- Process Optimisation & Continuous Improvement - Lead initiatives that streamline processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Resource Management - Plan and allocate labour, equipment, and space effectively, ensuring the right skills and training are in place for operational delivery.
- Technology & Systems - Oversee integration of new technologies including automation and robotics, ensuring WMS and related systems fully support warehouse activities.
- Health & Safety Compliance - Promote safe ways of working, conduct safety audits, and ensure full compliance with HSE standards across all operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with internal teams, suppliers, and approved agencies to ensure aligned planning, efficient recruitment, and effective supplier partnerships.
- Strategic Alignment - Partner with senior leadership to ensure warehouse planning strategies align with broader business objectives and long‑term goals.
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transport, and supply chain operations.
- Experience in developing and implementing warehouse strategies.
- Skilled in project management, process improvement, and change management.
- Proficient in Excel and warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercially astute with the ability to make sound business decisions.
- Proactive, organised, and able to lead cross‑functional collaboration.
