Hotel Management, Maintenance Manager
Maintenance Manager – Warrington Fir Grove Hotel (Best Western) – Lead our maintenance operations and ensure our hotel remains in top condition.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee daily maintenance activities, manage staff schedules, assign tasks and ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest standard.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to keep all equipment and facilities in excellent working order.
- Manage the hotel's energy usage and implement energy‑saving measures to enhance efficiency.
- Carry out all maintenance work safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
- Control the hotel's maintenance and repair budget, ensuring cost‑effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's facilities and equipment, promptly addressing any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including expenses, completed tasks and parts used.
- Provide detailed reports to senior management on the status of maintenance work and any issues that may arise.

- Previous experience in a maintenance management role in a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong technical skills and a good understanding of building and facility systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
