Are you an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record in managing large project tenders and leading high-performing teams? A dynamic and growing organization is seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Manager (Projects) to join their Senior Leadership Team and take ownership of key commercial and operational sales functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct the external commercial function as a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team on site.
- Manage the full bid process including negotiating contractual commercial and technical terms.
- Oversee expediting and delivery of all sales orders working closely with operations team members on quotation and invoicing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Director-level decision-makers to position the organization as the supplier of choice in its target markets.
- Collaborate across business functions to implement commercial and operational processes that support business growth and profit goals.
- Engineering qualifications or experience.
- Proven experience negotiating large project tenders and operating at senior commercial management level.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of setting objectives leading teams and fostering development. This role will require some tough leadership.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally to drive on-time and full delivery meeting sales and production targets.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
