We’re looking for an experienced and proactive leader to manage our Project Coordination Team, supporting the successful delivery of a wide range of capital projects. If you’re driven by effective planning, strong relationships and making complex programmes run smoothly, this is a role where you’ll truly make an impact.
What you’ll doAs the Project Coordination Team Manager, you’ll lead a team of 4–5 Project Coordinators who play a vital role in keeping our projects moving. You’ll oversee the smooth coordination of a broad suite of activities — from surveys and operational liaison, to supply chain engagement, land access, and regulatory requirements.
Your leadership will help ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with all governance requirements.
Key responsibilities include- Leading, developing and supporting a team of Project Coordinators.
- Designing, promoting and improving systems and processes that underpin project delivery.
- Building strong, influential relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders and contractors.
- Managing budgets for survey activities and ensuring efficient allocation of work across frameworks.
- Chairing regular progress meetings and ensuring clear, consistent communication across stakeholders.
- Creating and presenting insight‑driven reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel and SharePoint.
- Analysing large data sets and transforming them into meaningful information for project teams.
- Driving a strong health & safety culture with excellent performance at its core.
- Ensuring compliance with governance, risk management and statutory approvals.
- Working closely with engineering and operational colleagues to define survey requirements and minimise waste.
- Prioritising and planning work to support efficient programme delivery.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, complex environment and can lead with confidence, clarity and collaboration.
You’ll have- Strong understanding of Health & Safety systems and CDM regulations.
- Experience managing a team and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent commercial, financial planning and budget management skills.
- APM PFQ (or equivalent) and working towards PMQ.
- Experience with schedule and risk management, alongside managing project budgets.
