Career Makers Recruitment is currently recruiting a Parcel Sorter on behalf of our client based in Warrington, WA1.

This role is physically demanding and may involve working unsociable hours depending on demand. We’re looking for individuals who are flexible in their working approach, as on occasion you may be asked to stay on after the proposed end time or start earlier.

We’re looking for someone that is comfortable with the below…

• Unloading of HGV trailers into the warehouse and placing onto sorting belts
• Hand balling parcels
• Segregating different types of mail
• Operating sorting machines
• Sorting parcels into the correct loading areas from a belt using scanners & headsets
• Working in a team to safely load vans ready for dispatch
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Following standard processes & operating procedures

Required

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Able to lift lightweight and heavy parcels, weighing up to 15‑20kg each.

Afternoon shift:

3:30pm – 9:30pm

Pay Rate: £12.88 per hour

Night shift:

11:45pm – 8:30am (until finish)

Pay Rate: £14.38 until 6am, £12.88 after 6am
