Description

As Interim Buyer you will report into the Supply Chain Manager, Duties will include, however, not be limited to:

Source and procure goods and raw materials in line with company requirements and policies.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for money.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of procurement activities.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to diversify and improve the supply chain.
Resolve any supply chain issues that may arise promptly and effectively.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.

Profile

A successful Interim Buyer should have:

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Offer

Competitive hourly rate between £30,000 and £35,000 equivalent.
