We are seeking a dedicated Social Media Manager (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to help drive Skilled Up Life’s presence, engagement, and growth on Facebook. You will be responsible for managing our Facebook presence, including curating and scheduling posts, building engagement, and contributing to brand awareness among professionals, founders, and startup teams. This is a unique opportunity to gain specialized experience in Facebook growth strategies while contributing to a mission-driven tech platform.

• Plan, draft, and schedule posts using Facebook-native tools or publishing platforms.
• Build engagement through replies, resharing, and thoughtful commentary.
• Create visually engaging posts in collaboration with design or content teams.
• Track performance metrics and optimize posts based on engagement.
• Research trends and conversations relevant to startups, tech, and careers.
• Support campaigns promoting volunteer stories, events, and startup collaborations.

• Strong understanding of Facebook’s platform, algorithms, and user behavior.
• Excellent written communication and content planning skills.
• Passion for startups, tech, and professional development.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent posting calendar.
• Previous experience managing Linked In pages or groups is a plus.

• 3 hrs. per day Monday to Friday
• 60 Volunteer Days over 3+ months
• Part-time
• Fully remote

• Specialized social media experience with a focus on Facebook.
• Content strategy and community building in a B2B setting.
• Data-driven decision-making based on post performance.
• Familiarity with brand voice and professional engagement.

• Provide a testimonial for Linked In that can also be added to your CV/Resume.
• Allow you to add Skilled Up Life Company Name to your Linked In Profile.

This is a voluntary position, i.e. there is no direct financial compensation, a promise of future paid work or any taxable benefit in kind.
