Overview
We are looking for an IT Manager to lead our UK‑based IT & IS function. This pivotal role within the Business Systems group will deliver robust IT services, drive digital innovation, and align local operations with our European parent company’s infrastructure and strategy. The position can be based in or around Warrington, Leicester or Castleford.
Responsibilities- Lead the UK IT & IS support function, ensuring high availability of systems and services.
- Deliver UK and European IT projects on time and within budget.
- Manage telecommunications, network infrastructure, and hardware lifecycle.
- Oversee IT budgets, KPIs, and service level agreements.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards.
- Act as the UK escalation point for ERP and Toyota Industries Group systems.
- Champion innovation through AI, RPA, and automation technologies.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or senior IT Leader.
- Strong leadership, team development, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery experience.
- Hands‑on technical knowledge of Microsoft environments, networking, and infrastructure.
- Experience with AI, RPA, and cybersecurity solutions.
- ERP support experience (preferably within a group or multinational structure).
- Power BI experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally to other UK and European sites.
