Role Description

We require a part-time HR Advisor (approximately 18hrs per week) to support our growing team of around 80 employees. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for a person that enjoys being at the heart of a business, and supporting managers and colleagues with practical, professional HR guidance.

You will be a trusted point of contact, helping to maintain strong HR processes and supporting business expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the full employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding
  • Supporting and advising managers on all Employee Relations matters, including the disciplinary and grievance process
  • Absence management and return to work meetings
  • Performance management and conduct issues
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Updating company policies, procedures and HR documentation
  • Maintaining accurate HR records using the HRIS PeopleHR
  • Providing clear, pragmatic advice on all HR matters
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Confident working independently in a growing business environment
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Professional, discreet and able to handle sensitive matters discreetly
