We’re recruiting a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join McCarthy Recruitment as part of our continued growth.

This role is ideal for someone currently working in retail, hospitality, customer service, sales or another people-focused role who is looking to move into a professional career with clear progression, structured training and uncapped earning potential.

No recruitment experience is required — full training and support will be provided.

The Role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn how to connect talented people with leading businesses across the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:

Speaking with candidates to understand their experience and career goals
Supporting recruitment campaigns from start to finish
Building long-term relationships with candidates and clients
Advertising roles and sourcing suitable applicants
Managing interview processes and offers
Working closely with an experienced, supportive team while you learn the role

This is a fast-paced, varied role with plenty of opportunity to develop new skills.

Enjoys talking to people and building relationships
Is organised, proactive and motivated
Has strong communication skills
Is ambitious and keen to develop a long-term career
Wants a role where performance is recognised and rewarded

Previous recruitment experience is not required — attitude, drive and potential matter more.
