People Advisor – Vistry Group

We are looking for a People Advisor to join Vistry Services at our Warrington office, supporting across the North West and Midlands regions. The role focuses on generalist HR support and employee relations, with a strong emphasis on coaching staff and driving employee engagement.

• Provide day‑to‑day generalist HR support to managers and employees.
• Guide and coach stakeholders on employee relations matters.
• Support employee engagement and development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of ER cases and manage documentation.
• Assist in the onboarding of new starters and managers.
• Lead exit interviews and develop action plans.
• Support absence management and Occupational Health referrals.
• Contribute to HR projects and provide management data and insights.
• Attend regional board meetings and engagement forums as required.
• Monitor regional People KPIs and collaborate with the People Business Partner.
• Advise employees and managers on HR policies and their implementation.
• Deliver employee‑relations skills workshops.

• 5 GCSEs/GCEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent.
• CIPD Level 3 or higher.
• Background in HR with complex employee relations experience.
• Good working knowledge of employment law.
• Strong analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook).
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• CIPD Level 5.

As a People Advisor, you will work within Vistry’s People Team, providing HR support across multiple regions, improving Employee Relations processes, and contributing to the overall People Strategy of the organisation.
