V Hotels know how to party. We are looking for a number of Christmas Coordinators to join the team from now through to the end of December 2025 to help us promote and coordinate our parties, private events, Pub & Grill parties, family gatherings and children’s events for our Christmas Programme.

The Role Will Include
  • Assist with the sales planning of who to target as attendees at each event
  • Outreach activity to local businesses and organisations including business parks, retail parks, schools, colleges and sports clubs
  • In reach promotional activity within the hotel to create interest and secure new bookings (e.g. leisure club member activity plans, lobby hosting)
  • Proactive telephone calls to both past and potential new customers to secure bookings and answer any queries
  • Upsell telephone calls to guests staying over the Christmas period
  • Assisting with the co-ordination of events including chasing payments, menu & drinks choices and dealing with any special requests
  • Learning to use the booking systems and updating this with the relevant information in an accurate and timely manner into Sales System
  • Research and action exposure on local organisations intranets/social media and promotional forums
  • Updating Sales System with daily figures: inputting new ticket sales and reconciling payments
  • Chasing final balance payments

The Successful Candidate Will
  • Have an outgoing, personable character.
  • Be target focussed.
  • Be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Be confident on the telephone and face to face with clients.
  • Have knowledge of social media.
  • Have good written English.
  • Have experience of customer service (does not need to be hospitality).
