Job Overview

The successful candidates will assist in providing a lunchtime service catering for approximately 100 - 200 meals a day. Duties will include food preparation and serving healthy meals using fresh ingredients in a safe and compliant operation in line with the Council's policies and procedures.

Experience working in a kitchen environment preferred but not essential. Knowledge of special diets and allergens. Maintain high standards of cleanliness. Team player with positive attitude and have good customer service skills.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.

Warrington School Meals Team manage catering operations in schools across the borough. We are looking for 6 Kitchen Assistants to support the operations in one of our partner schools listed below.
