If you have a caring nature, excellent communication skills and would enjoy working in a busy but supportive environment then the Radiology Porters role at Warrington and Halton Hospitals is the job for you!

We are looking for hard-working, friendly individuals who take pride in their work with a professional manner. They need to be enthusiastic, reliable who can work as an integral part of a team.

The post is on a 4 week rotation of days and nights working from Radiology within the Accident and Emergency department. The shifts are 8-8 days or nights on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

To transfer inpatients to and from the wards and Accident & Emergency to all areas of the Radiology department/Vascular lab for imaging, ensuring response times and standards are maintained throughout.

To work as part of a team liaising with the portering co-ordinator/senior radiographers, showing flexibility and co-operation.
