Overview

Community Integrated Care is seeking a dedicated health and social care professional for a Service Manager role based in Burtonwood, Warrington. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced leader, as you will lead a team of one assistant manager and Advanced Support Workers, supporting one young man with a learning disability, Tourette’s, OCD and complex needs, to lead the Best Lives Bolder approach.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Advanced Support Worker Specialists, ensuring they feel supported, motivated and confident in their roles.
  • Deliver effective practice leadership and ensure consistent implementation of personalised support plans.
  • Model best practice, facilitate positive risk-taking, promote reflective practice and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with the NHS National HOPE(s) Team to ensure therapeutically informed, structured and responsive care.
  • Uphold quality, safeguarding and robust care planning, risk management, and accurate record keeping.
  • Drive high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement to help the young man reach his potential.
About the Role

As Service Manager, you will lead, inspire and develop a team of specialists, delivering person-centred, life-changing support and working with the NHS HOPE(s) Team and other professionals to uphold best practice and safeguarding.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience as a leader in complex care, autism, or supporting people with complex behaviours; track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to manage behaviours that may challenge using proactive, reflective and innovative approaches.
  • Organised, resilient, emotionally intelligent, and able to inspire and motivate others.
  • Professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England)) or equivalent.
  • Level 5 Diploma in PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) or be willing to work towards.
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems; training provided if needed.
