Salary/Rate: £13.60 per hour

This position is advertised in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1 Occupational Requirements.

Hours:

8 per week. The role involves assisting a 16‑year‑old teenage girl with a rare genetic mutation (HNRNPH2) who is non‑verbal and uses a wheelchair.

Responsibilities include:

providing personal care (showering, toileting, changing continence pads), supporting independent living skills, lifting and hoisting, escorting to events and outings, and participating in social and leisure activities.

For two Personal Assistants working alternate Saturdays.

• Hours:
  
  8 hours per alternate Saturday.
• Additional hours may be required during school holidays and some weekday evenings.
• A car driver is preferred for this role.
• Experience working with individuals who have physical disabilities and additional needs is essential.
• Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
