Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours for our NHS client based in Warrington, Lancashire. This is a short-term locum position available immediately.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the General Adult Psychiatry Ward.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Maintain compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice.

Assess patients under the MHA and make recommendations accordingly.

Act as Responsible Clinician (RC).

Require Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval.

Qualifications and Experience

Full GMC licence to practice.
Section 12 approval.
Approved Clinician (AC) status.
Previous experience in a similar role.
