Senior Finance Manager

An established UK-based services organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance function and act as a key business partner to senior leadership.

This is a hands-on, broad role offering real ownership of financial reporting, controls, and performance improvement within a stable and well-structured business.

The Role

Reporting into senior management, the Finance Manager will oversee end-to-end finance operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance across all financial reporting. The role plays a critical part in supporting commercial decision-making and driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading, developing, and motivating the finance team

* Full ownership of monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow

* Budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis

* Driving financial process improvement and system efficiencies

* Ensuring strong governance, controls, and regulatory compliance

* Overseeing VAT, CIS, statutory accounts, and audit requirements

* Partnering with senior and operational stakeholders to support business performance

About You

* 7+ years’ experience in a senior finance role

* Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)

* Strong operational finance and reporting background

* Proven track record of process improvement and cost control

* Confident communicator able to work across finance and non-finance teams

* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Sage or similar ERP systems
