This is a genuinely exciting long-term opportunity with a clear path to Finance Director.
The Role
As Financial Controller, you'll lead and develop a high-performing finance team while overseeing all financial and accounting operations. You'll be responsible for delivering accurate reporting, ensuring global tax compliance, managing payroll across multiple countries, and driving strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading monthly and annual financial reporting across all entities
Managing VAT, Income Tax & Corporate Tax compliance
Overseeing AP, AR, payroll and general ledger activity
Managing the audit process and compliance with accounting standards
Motivating and developing the finance team
Ensuring robust internal controls and proactive risk management
Cashflow forecasting and management
Managing and reconciling intercompany transactions
About You
You'll bring a strong technical background, exceptional analytical ability, and the confidence to influence at senior level.
Key
Skills & Experience:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
Strong financial reporting, analysis and decision-making skills
Experience working within a global business
Advanced Excel and confident with new systems
Natural leader with excellent communication skills
Hands-on, proactive and able to operate independently
