Senior Electrical Estimator

We are working alongside a leading building services contractor who are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join their North West pre-construction team. This role is pivotal in securing and delivering high-quality MEP projects across sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments. Our client has been in operation for over 80 years and is currently turning over £300m across the business.

They have an outstanding culture, team structure and there are long term opportunities for the right people to progress past Senior level and above. The successful candidate will lead the electrical estimating function on complex tenders, ensuring accurate, competitive, and commercially robust submissions aligned with company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction & Estimating Lead the preparation of detailed electrical cost estimates for projects ranging from £5m - £35m in value. Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and employers requirements. Develop competitive and commercially sound tender submissions within agreed deadlines. Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
