Our Graduate Development Programme is designed to give you a rich, hands‑on experience where you will develop your technical skills, grow your network and gain professional qualifications if you want to.

What will you be doing?

As a Graduate Engineer within the Digital Visualisation team, you will support the creation of high‑quality visual content that communicates design intent and project concepts across the built environment. You will be responsible for producing 3D models, renders, animations, and diagrams.

This is a digitally focused role requiring both creative and technical skills, with an emphasis on delivering accurate and visually engaging outputs. The position plays a key part in enhancing the clarity and impact of project communications, supporting bids, presentations, and stakeholder engagement through compelling visual media. It also provides a structured opportunity for skill development in visual storytelling, technical workflows, and software proficiency.

Working in this role will support you in gaining experience in the following:

  • Creation of 3D models, use of 3D Studio Max and associated CAD software
  • Integrating Synchro, Navisworks or similar tools to produce 4D construction simulations
  • Ability to create materials and texture maps and apply them in multiple software packages
  • Understanding and applying the principle of keyframe animation on camera and animation
  • Gaining an appreciation of global illumination and how it’s applied to projects
  • Understanding Adobe Premiere and the basic principles of Adobe After Effects, with the ability to utilise 3D software output and incorporate it into video editing software
  • Ability to read and understand CAD and engineering information and support engineering initiatives
  • Understanding both technical engineering and artistic quality to strike the balance between them
  • Supporting and maintaining good communication across all design and project teams, ensuring an acceptable multi‑discipline design output

This role is available for a September 2026 start, with the possibility of an earlier start date to suit yourself and the business.

As part of the graduate programme you will be expected to work in and around the location advertised, with the possibility for expanding travel to other projects and locations in the future. This may include staying away from home.
