At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world. As a Senior EC&I Designer you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at either the Warrington (Cheshire) or Preston (Lancashire) sites, contributing to projects that truly matter.

• Provide specialist technical advice and design governance, ensuring adherence to technical standards and promoting collaboration across Design and other functions.
• Allocate tasks and check outputs for a team of Designers, ensuring coordination across disciplines and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Support customer engagement, helping to resolve technical and delivery issues while building strong relationships to aid business development.
• Contribute to design production, including drawings for basic, detailed, and production stages, and assist in resolving manufacturing and installation queries.
• Lead low-risk multi-discipline projects, develop innovative design solutions, and stay informed on industry developments, tools, and techniques.

• Experience in a detailed design environment
• Good knowledge of CAD tools
• Knowledge of General Engineering Drawing Practice

• HNC/HND minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent academic qualification
