Access Talent Group are recruiting for a large international design consultancy for an office in Manchester or Leeds. Our client is looking for an experienced Principal Civil Engineer with experience in the Water utilities sector.

This large international design consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to step up or already a principal engineer within the utilities sector. They seek someone with experience with Waste or Clean water network infrastructure and non‑infrastructure design. This can include, treatment plants, desalination, pipeline and pump stations and storage systems. The consultancy has many pipeline projects and is looking for leaders to deliver multidisciplinary projects within the sector.

• Lead to the successful delivery of Design and Build projects from feasibility to construction phases.
• Client engagement to develop technical civil engineering design solutions
• Program, project and budget management
• Review design and check capabilities
• Mentoring junior staff and aiding their development
• Degree qualified with MSc or MEng to ensure chartership can be obtained.
• Chartered CEng qualification or close to finishing
• Hands‑on design experience of water / wastewater projects
• Technical water background and sound knowledge of international codes and standards
• Experience working with a contractor
• Good software and digital understanding and experience
• 4‑week allowance to work abroad
• Flexible working with 2 days a week in the office
