Commercial Solar Designer

Our Client is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Solar Designer to join their growing team. They are a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions and are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative solar designs that meet the needs of our commercial clients.

• Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial buildings, including roof‑mounted, ground‑mounted, and carport‑mounted systems.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the optimal solar system configuration.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., PV Sol, AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketch Up).
• Prepare system sizing calculations, performance simulations, and energy yield estimates.
• Develop bill of materials (BOM) for solar system components.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest solar technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Support sales and marketing efforts by providing technical expertise and design proposals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in designing commercial solar PV systems.
• Strong understanding of solar energy fundamentals, including system design, performance, and installation best practices.
