Sub Agent - Civils - Airfields/ Highways

Leigh base/ Supporting Major UK Airfields (predominantly North West & Midlands)

Up to £55,000 + Car/car allowance + Package

The Role
We are recruiting a Sub Agent to support the delivery of civil engineering works across major UK airfield frameworks. Working as part of a wider project team, you will manage sections of works with individual work packages valued up to £5m, contributing to the successful delivery of a long-term programme of secured works.

This role offers excellent progression opportunities within a business that has a guaranteed pipeline of projects for at least the next five years.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Project Manager with the operational delivery of allocated works

* Manage site activities, subcontractors and suppliers

* Prepare and review RAMS, permits to work and quality documentation

* Coordinate resources, plant, materials and equipment

* Monitor progress against programmes and assist with look-ahead planning

* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget

* Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and handover documentation

* Promote compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
Requirements

* HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

* CSCS card (relevant level)

* SMSTS

* Experience working for a civil engineering contractor in a similar role

* Strong understanding of construction methods and quality control

* Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends when required

* Full UK driving licence
