Senior Document Controller

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Document Controller on a permanent basis in Warrington.

This position supports the delivery of complex engineering and construction projects across regulated industries. Working primarily on a client site, the role plays a key part in maintaining robust document control, quality compliance, and effective information management throughout the project lifecycle. A security clearance (HORUS) will be required due to the site-based nature of the work.

• Manage and control project documentation using systems such as 4
  
  Project and/or Share Point
• Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO
  9001 and ISO
  14001 standards
• Carry out quality checks and maintain accurate records to support compliant project delivery
• Track vendor documentation and manage document workflows across multiple disciplines
• Support timely, cost-effective project execution through structured and organised information control
• Collaborate closely with project teams to meet defined quality and compliance requirements

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
• Proven experience working on UK construction or engineering projects
• Confidence using document control systems such as 4
  
  Project or Share Point
• Clear understanding of design processes and associated technical documentation
• Experience preparing or compiling O&M manuals is advantageous
• Solid knowledge of data handling, document control, and administrative processes
• Comfortable working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
