Senior Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer with at least ten years’ solid experience across commercial construction. This isn’t a role for someone who just sets out and goes home – we need someone who can really get into the detail, challenge drawings, and add value throughout the build.

What the role involves

Supporting the delivery team with technical know-how, problem-solving and practical solutions

Reviewing and interrogating drawings before they hit site

Spotting clashes, highlighting risks and helping shape the best way to build each element

Overseeing quality, surveys, checks and site documentation

Helping guide junior engineers and improving standards across the project

Working closely with managers, subcontractors and designers to keep the job moving in the right direction

What we’re looking for

Minimum 10 years’ broad-based engineering experience in commercial construction

Someone who can do the setting out, but also brings more to the table

Strong technical judgement and confidence working through design issues

Good communicator who isn’t afraid to speak up when something doesn’t look right

Reliable, proactive and able to drive standards on site
