Job Role:EYFS Teaching Assistant – Warrington (WA2)

Contract:Full-Time, Temporary (potential to become permanent)

A warm and welcoming primary school in Warrington (WA2) is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support their Nursery/Reception team before Easter 2026.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based EYFS activities.
• Assist with children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
• Contribute to observations and assessments to support progress.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive early years environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

• Experience working with EYFS children (Nursery or Reception).
• Good understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework.
• A nurturing, creative, and proactive approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
